I posted in my first Blog that I had dug up my lawns and started from scratch.I removed all the weeds and turned the soil by hand with the aid of a 84 year old friend.
I put about 80 Bags of topsoil on and re seeded here it is Aug 8th and the lawns are looking great. My wife the slave driver had me do some more work with decorative white stones as boarders near fences and walkways more hard work but again the results are quite good.
Not much to do and I will be ready to post pictures of all my hard work.
I mentioned in my last Blog the lack of anything interesting to talk about and that pretty well remains the same unless you want to count my breaking a lower tooth and needing a root canal and a crown next week at my Dentists in Ottawa.
My wife did have a bit of excitement last week on the way home from a Doctors appointment had a Blown back tire while driving on 401.Luckily a good Samaritan came to her aid and tied to fix it eventually not able to used his CAA Membership and had her towed to a local Garage close to home.Got all new tires so that should solve that problem.
Major storms in Ontario last night but didn't hit our area very bad.Tornado's touched down in other areas.
So still nothing exciting happening in the Wormington household.
Not that I'm wishing for anything for anything to happen.

The summer of 2013 was the year to repair my lawns.Brack beaking work to dig up and put new top soil and seed.
Watering the grass faithfully to come up with great results. The only problem being the first water Bill $167.00 WOW do I really car about my grass that much.
I got up at 6 AM this morning to put sprinklers on only to find it raining wonderfull.
Talking about rain Im off to Calgary were they have been getting their share of rain hope the Stampede grounds have dried out enough for the Stampede to go on.
I know this is a boring Blog but don't have any floods or forest fires in my area to talk about Drs appointments biggest thing in our lives have a very active calendar.
